Through Gebrak Masker program, TP PKK and Thousand Islands Regency distributed masks, staple food packages, and hand sanitizer to Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands, on Tuesday (8/25).

Thousand Islands Acting Regent (Plt), Junaedi mentioned, Gebrak Masker program was initiated by PKK cadres to encourage people to wear masks regularly to avoid COVID-19 transmission.

"Prevention is necessary, even though zero COVID-19 case in Sebira Island," he conveyed.

Besides masks, Thousand Islands TP PKK Acting Chairperson, Rita Susanti Junaedi mentioned, her side also distributed 400 staple food packages for RPTRA administrators, PKK cadres at RT/RW levels, Dasa Wisma members, Posyandu administrators, and elderly.

"As many as 300 masks and 50 bottles of hand sanitizer will be distributed by Dasa Wisma cadres to the residents as needed," she explained.
